Shipping


How long will it take to get my order?
Orders are processed the next business day if products are in stock.  Shipping will occur within 1-3 business days after an order is placed and then it will take anywhere from 3-7 business days after that to receive your order based on your shipping choices and destination at checkout.

What shipping carrier do you use?
We typically ship orders via the least expensive method.  Most often this is the USPS (United States Postal Service), but sometimes other carriers, such as UPS or Fed-Ex will be utilized for larger or heavier orders.

Returns


Do you accept returns?
We do accept returns within 30 days of receipt, with your verified purchase, in its original, unused and uncut package for refund, credit or exchange.  There are some products that cannot be returned, such as gift cards, sale items or clearance.  You can read our full return policy on the returns page of our website - here.

Our Shop


Where are you located?
We are located in North Dallas in the great state of Texas.  Our studio location is closing down at the end of the month - Sept 30th. Of course, you can shop on our website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Our website is not closing down at this time.  If you would like to contact us by phone, you can reach us Monday - Thursday 9 am - 6 pm and on Fridays at 9 am - 12 pm. We will not be taking calls on Saturdays or Sundays. CLASSES


Do you have any classes?
We do offer in-person classes at our studio. You can check out all our upcoming classes here.  Sign up for our newsletter and get advance notice of when the classes start.

I'm a beginner. Can you help me get started?
We are always available to assist new quilters to get started on a journey of a lifetime.  We offer classes  for all quilters: beginner, intermediate and advanced, but we are always available by phone. So call us at (469) 319-2800 and we will get you started.


Products


Do I have to buy a full yard of fabric?
Yes.  At this time the minimum yardage for purchase is 1 yard.

What is the difference between a yard and a meter of fabric?
A yard measures 36".  A meter measures 39.4" or 1.09 yards.


Quilting


Is there a way to have your company make a custom quilt for me and how much would that cost?
There is no easy or short answer to this question.  At this point in time, there are no services available for ordering a custom made quilt on the website, but there are plans for this in the future.  A blanket cost cannot be determined without knowing what fabric is wanted, the pattern options, size of the quilt, the other materials that go into it, such as thread, batting, borders, backing fabric and binding, and depending on the size and complexity of the quilt, the labor involved in making it.  That being said, the owner of Sew Charming Quilts will take projects on a case-by-case basis and you should call the shop at (469) 319-2800 or email us at info@sewcharmingquilts.com, to get any assistance with this request.
