Kona Cotton - CYPRESS

According to Wikipedia, Cypress is a common name for various coniferous trees or shrubs of northern temperate regions that belong to the family Cupressaceae. All I can tell you is that when I was looking up something for Cypress, Western Red Cedar came up in my search and I have seen those types of trees before. Other than that I am out for information on Cypress, except for the fabric.

This color kind of reminds me of the Girl Scout uniform color of the 70’s. It is a medium green that is not quite a mint green and not quite a khaki green. I remember growing up and having Girls Scouts on Wednesday’s after school. All of the girls who were in the troop would wear their sashes with all of their badges to school that day. I can’t remember if there was more to the uniform like a shirt or skirt, or pants, but I do remember the sash. I still have my sash packed away in a box somewhere and I believe that I still may have some patches that actually still need to be sewn on. I think I would rather tackle this quilt than sew on patches. Let us know if we can kit this quilt for you. It would be the perfect quilt for St. Patrick’s Day.
